Class of 2011
Welcome back everybody to a new year! I have some house keeping information for you. I will be giving all students a supply list and 2010-11 calendar. Open house is on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. I will post the times when I get them! Euclid has 5 professional Development days this year. September 28th is the first one. WE WILL NOT have school on that date. Let's have a great year and see you all soon.

Senior Art Show A Big Success!
The Senior Show was a success as always! The students sold around $3500.00 of artwork. Hopefully they will put it in their savings account for college! Thanks for a great year!

Grand Prize Winner
On May 1st Dylan Grove was announced the Grand Prize winner of the 11th Congressional District Art Competition. He is being flown to Washington DC along with the winners from all other districts and his art will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel of the US Capitol building for a year. He is also eligible for a $5,000 scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design.

Governor's Winners
Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition
The thirty-sixth Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition will open with special ceremonies at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower, Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, April 18th at 12:00 noon. and will be on display until May 13, 2006, from 8:00am – 5pm, weekdays only.
A total of over 12,000 art entries were submitted from the 15 regions in the State, selections from each of the fifteen regions were made by judges chosen by each of the regional directors.
The selections of 300 works of art by 9th through 12th grade students were judge at the state level by six professional art instructors from varies universities and art schools.
The exhibition is a testament to the high quality of visual arts education that exists in our state.
The following student have artwork hanging in the show:

Olivia Oltmanns 12th
Jerome Ross 12th
Jennifer Foote 12th

Governor's Show & NEWS
Hello All~
We have 20 pieces going down to State this weekend March 13th. The end of the 3rd quarter is March 26th. OGT's are next weekend. Morning class is at regular time and the afternoon is from 11:00am till 1:00pm. I am currently working on colleges with every student. They will be coming home with information. (ASK THEM) Call me if you have any questions.
