Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition
The thirty-sixth Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition will open with special ceremonies at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower, Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, April 18th at 12:00 noon. and will be on display until May 13, 2006, from 8:00am – 5pm, weekdays only.
A total of over 12,000 art entries were submitted from the 15 regions in the State, selections from each of the fifteen regions were made by judges chosen by each of the regional directors.
The selections of 300 works of art by 9th through 12th grade students were judge at the state level by six professional art instructors from varies universities and art schools.
The exhibition is a testament to the high quality of visual arts education that exists in our state.
